Ripasso of the year 2016
Grape: Corvina, Molinara, Rondinella, Corvinone
An intense but also smooth wine from the Valpolicella region in Italy. Made of three different grapes named Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella. After the initial fermentation, skins and seeds of Amarone grapes are added to the Ripasso wines, which induces a secondary fermentation process. After this process it will age on aok barrels and will become a real Italian beauty. When you put a glass of this Ripasso at your mouth, you will be stunned by tones of cherry, spices and even a bit of tabacco. Completes you evening.. Goes perfectly well with roasted- and grilled meat, rabbit, hearty main coursesd hard cheeses.
