Quinta do Quetzal is located in the middle of the Alentejo region. Because of the hills, where the vineyards are growing, a micro-climate has arise, which is perfect for the grapes and the wine. The grapes are handpicked and crushes by natural processes. The wine aged for at least 20 months on French Oak barrels and this can be notices in the wine. The french Oak gave this wine silky tannines, hints of black fruit. This wine pairs well with refined meat dishes or spicy fish meals.
